You have to pay the principal amount and service fees before FamilyExpress.ca will process your transaction. You agree and authorize FamilyExpress.ca to charge your designated Card account for the principal amount, the service fee and any other applicable fees. If your Bank does not provide authorization for your debit transaction, FamilyExpress.ca will not process the transaction and no funds will be transmitted to your beneficiary. Alternatively, if payment is not received, FamilyExpress.ca can cancel your transaction at its discretion. FamilyExpress.ca assumes no liability for damages resulting from or arising out of non-payment of the remittance by reason of non-receipt of authorization from your bank. You acknowledge that your agreement with your Bank governs the use of your Card, and you must refer to that agreement to ascertain your rights and liabilities as a cardholder.

The remittance transaction may be cancelled and the transaction amount may be subsequently refunded upon the sender's written request if the recipient has not yet received the funds.
